BLS (Basic Life Support)
This advanced CPR/AED course uses up-to-date national curriculums, guidelines, standards and best practices and application for healthcare professionals. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills with a focus on high-quality CPR, using breathing devices, and operating an AED. Emergency choking relief techniques and dispensing Narcan for and Opioid overdose instruction is included. Participants train in workplace scenarios and demonstrations, complete skills practice, and a written exam. We manage the elapsing certification cards and remind you when it is time to recertify. This course is for initial renewal or recertifying students.
Vital CPR/AED
This course is designed to prepare students to identify Sudden Cardiac Arrest and perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner for adults, small children, and infants. Emergency choking relief techniques and dispensing Narcan for and Opioid overdose instruction is included. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a certified course completion card, valid for two years. We manage the elapsing certification cards and remind you when it is time to recertify. This course is for initial renewal or recertifying students.
Critical First Aid
This instructor-led course is designed to prepare students to provide immediate and effective Critical First Aid. Participants will learn scene safety, their duties, roles, and responsibilities, finding the problem, i.e., external bleeding, broken bones, sprains, actions for bites and stings and temperature-related and poison emergencies. (Exam Optional) Emergency choking relief
techniques and dispensing Narcan for and Opioid overdose instruction is included.
Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid
The course is designed to meet national regulatory requirements and teaches daycare
providers, early childhood educators, airline staff, youth organizations, parents and
grandparents, individuals/employees requiring training and/or certification, to respond to an ill or
injured small child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
Choking relief and Narcan training is included.
Bloodborne Pathogens Training (OSHA Compliant)
The Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of encountering bloodborne pathogens, and other bodily fluids. Occupations: -Childcare Workers -Manufacturing -Restaurant Staff -Maintenance Workers -School Personnel -Construction Workers -Hotel housekeepers -Health/Fitness Club Staff This course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials, designed to meet OSHA requirements and training when paired with site-specific instruction.
Fire Safety Training
Many people wrongfully assume using a fire extinguisher is spontaneous. Do not wait to learn how to use one in a fire emergency! Make sure your team is prepared to properly respond to fire incidents quickly, decisively, and confidently by knowing how to prevent fires, when and how to use a fire extinguisher, and other safe practices for fire response. This course includes training in general workplace fire safety, with a focus is to prevent fires in the workplace and maintaining fire extinguishers. Each participant will learn about fire prevention and emergency plans in accordance with OSHA standards 29 CFR 1910.38 and 39.
Workplace Violence Preparedness
Unfortunately, violence in the workplace has become all too common. Workplace Violence
Prevention training helps your employees spot and respond to potential and real incidents to help keep the workplace safe. Workplace violence prevention training for your employees is an initiative-taking step toward creating a safer, more secure work environment. This training course empowers your team to recognize early warning signs of violence and understand how to respond effectively. It covers critical topics like active shooter situations, bullying, and anger management, providing strategies to diffuse stressful situations that could escalate into violence. Designed to help you meet the requirements of NYS’s (SB 553,) workplace violence prevention law, and your organization’s workplace violence prevention plan.
Active Shooter Response
In combination with the Workplace Violence Preparedness course, Active Shooter Response training gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs and react quickly in life-threatening situations. When violence occurs, seconds count, and you cannot always wait for professional help to arrive, which enables you to become an immediate responder by learning how to act and emergency techniques on how to stop the bleeding of victims.
Course objectives:

▪ Decide whether to escape, evade or attack.
▪ Apply critical stop the bleeding techniques.
▪ Respond quickly and confidently in an emergency.
NYS Point and Insurance Reduction Program
New York State’s Department of Motor Vehicle’s Point and Insurance Reduction Program (PIRP) is a comprehensive driver safety course which provides knowledge and techniques for safe and lawful driving. After completing this 6-hour approved course, you will receive 10% off your auto and motorcycle insurance premiums, up to 4 points are subtracted from your driver’s license and it is good for 3-years.
Babysitting Accreditation
Our Babysitting Training program gives youth and teenagers everything they need to learn to be a responsible, safe, and successful babysitter. The classes teach how to care for small children and infants, working with parents and children, key safety concerns, and how to turn it into a professional business. CPR/AED and Basic First Aid certifications are included. This classroom and interactive format make learning fun.
Organization/Workplace Emergency Disaster Preparedness
Training is necessary to ensure that everyone becomes familiar with protective actions for
medical and environmental emergencies, (e.g., ill or injured, fire drills, evacuation, or shelter-in- place, etc.) as required by local regulations. Knowing what to do when there is a natural or human-caused disaster, cold be the difference between life and death.
This specialized training helps employees become acquainted with safety, building and security information and other preventive protocols in these types of emergencies.
AED Assessment, Training and Servicing
Whether it is your present AED, (Automatic External Defibrillator) or you need a new unit, in a large, small facility, we offer a complete industry solution for your AED program. We can schedule a consultation to best determine which program fits the needs of your facility and employees. This includes a complete assessment walk through of your site allowing us to select the proper AED placement for the fastest response time possible, delivery of AED package(s), and train your staff on your specific unit. As we service most brands of AEDs, we provide a two (2) year maintenance and service
contract to perform the necessary diagnostic tests, along with the replacement of electrodes, batteries, etc., to ensure your AED is “Rescue Ready” is included.
First Aid Station/Patrol
We provide full-scale on-site medical services for public safety and help to plan the unique logistical realities of the location for your community and workplace event, for 50 to 500 attendees. Experienced, certified professionals are on scene. We rotate walking around the event with a fully supplied First Aid backpack.
